Privacy Policy
This policy explains how vocawave handles account data, uploaded media, generated outputs, billing information, and operational logs.
1. Scope
vocawave is a web application for voice cloning, speech generation, audio enhancement, media export, and subscription billing. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the service, why it is collected, and how it is used.
This policy applies to the public website, authenticated dashboard, support interactions, and files or prompts submitted through the product.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your email address, encrypted password credentials, subscription status, and credit balance.
We collect workspace content that you choose to upload or generate, including voice samples, generated audio, exported video files, still images used for MP4 exports, text prompts, generation settings, and usage history.
We collect billing and transactional information needed to manage subscriptions and credit purchases. Card payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly in the application database.
We also collect basic operational data such as log entries, request metadata, error reports, and security signals needed to keep the service available and protect against abuse.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to create and secure your account, provide access to the dashboard, process voice and media requests, store your history, enforce usage limits, and deliver subscription features.
We use billing data to create checkout sessions, reconcile subscription state, apply purchased credits, prevent duplicate billing events, and provide customer portal access.
We may use operational logs and product telemetry to debug failures, improve reliability, prevent fraud, and investigate misuse of voice or payment systems.
4. Voice and Media Processing
Audio, text, image, and export data submitted through the service may be processed by infrastructure and model providers that power core product features. Depending on configuration, that can include providers for voice generation, storage, media processing, deployment, and payments.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions required to upload voice samples, clone voices, synthesize speech, and export media derived from those materials.
5. Legal Bases and Product Purpose
We process information to perform the contract required to operate your account and deliver the services you request, including file handling, generation history, and billing.
We also process certain information for legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention, debugging, capacity planning, and product improvement.
6. Sharing of Information
Information is shared only with service providers and infrastructure partners that are necessary to operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, billing, storage, and AI processing vendors.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the service or its users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
7. Data Retention
Account data and stored media remain available until they are deleted by you, removed under retention rules, or deleted after account closure where permitted by law and operational necessity.
Billing records, fraud-prevention logs, and compliance-relevant operational data may be retained for longer periods when required to satisfy accounting, tax, contractual, or legal obligations.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect account credentials, stored files, billing state, and access controls. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and you use the service with that understanding.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for restricting access to your account.
9. Your Choices
You may update account information from the product where functionality is available, manage billing through the Stripe customer portal, and delete or replace content inside your workspace subject to product limits.
If you need help with access, deletion, or account questions, use the support contact or support channel published with your deployment of the service.
10. Children
The service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service or submit personal data if you are under the minimum age required by applicable law.
11. International Processing
Because the product relies on cloud infrastructure and third-party providers, information may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the service, you understand that such transfers may occur as part of operating the platform.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product changes, operational needs, or legal requirements. The latest version published on this page governs current use of the service.
